About Me
Dr. Cory Plock is an active professional in the computer science and software development industries. He is a member of both the Association for Computing Machinery and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and he is also on the Board of Directors of the Western Connecticut State University Foundation, where he serves as the Investment Committee chair.
Dr. Cory Plock started his career by attending Western Connecticut State University, where he cofounded and served as president of the Western Connecticut State University Computer Society and earned his B.A. with honors in Computer Science in January 1998. He next earned his M.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Ph.D. from New York University. Dr. Cory Plock defended his dissertation and earned his doctorate in 2008. He is now an Adjunct Associate Professor at New York University, teaching graduate students computer programming languages courses.
Dr. Cory Plock is also president of Prolifogy, Inc., a software development and consulting firm based in Danbury, Connecticut. He provides guidance, oversight, and leadership on operations, project development, and long-term strategic planning.
